Indian Air Force, conducts Fast Track Selection (FTS) Commissioned Officers in Metrology at Chandigargh
Qualification: Post
Graduate Degree in any Science stream/Mathematics
/Statistics/Geography/ Computer Applications/Environmental
Sciences/Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/Agriculture
Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment /Geo physics/Environmental
Biology. All Candidates should have scored a minimum 50% marks in
aggregate of all paper of post Graduation put together and should have
studied Maths and Physics in Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks in
both .All the candidates should be able to provide provisional/original
PG certificate issued by the Univeristy latest by 15 Dec 2012 .
Physical Standards:
Height and Weight.Minimum height : Men 157.5 Cms, Women 152 Cms with
correlated weight. (ii) All other medical criteria would be evaluated by
the Air Force Medical Authoritites whose decision on the fitness would
be final.
How to apply
On the spot registration will take place between 0800 hours to 11.00 hours on 24 th August 2012 at the UIET Sector, Panjab University , Chandigargh.
