About IBPS Exam

The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection or IBPS is responsible for conducting the Common Written Exam (CWE). The exam is designed to test aspiring probationary officers and management trainees in all of India. This exam serves as a gateway into getting hired into many of India's prestigious banking firms. In fact, a total of 19 banks have participated in the test with the State Bank of India (SBI) as the only bank who planned to conduct its own exam. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the University/Institution from where they have obtained the degree. In case the University/Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by the Bank by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.
Minimum percentage of marks prescribed for the examination is not allowed to be rounded off. (For example: a candidate who secured only 59.99% of marks for graduation is not eligible).
