About IBPS Exam
The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection  or IBPS is responsible for conducting the Common Written Exam (CWE).  The exam is designed to test aspiring probationary officers and  management trainees in all of India. This exam serves as a gateway into  getting hired into many of India's prestigious banking firms. In fact, a  total of 19 banks have participated in the test with the State Bank of  India (SBI) as the only bank who planned to conduct its own exam. The  banks that rely on the exam for their latest recruits are: Allahabad  Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Dena  Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Syndicate Bank, United  Bank of India, Vijaya Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of India, Canara Bank,  Corporation Bank, Indian Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab &  Sindh Bank, Union Bank of India and the UCO Bank. The IBPS Exam Results for PO will determine the qualification of the individuals to these banks alongside other criteria.

Application  to take the exam began in July 2011.  Now, candidates patiently wait  for the IBPS Exam Results for PO. Results are bound to be out by the  middle of November to the first week of December. Persons who given the  exam results may regularly visit

results 2011 - 2012
The Common Written Test is performed twice a year. Once the results are out, a score card  will be issued by the IBPS to the candidates. They will then present  this to the participating banks when applying. Some of the banks will  pose qualifying scores. And those who meet the cut-off will be  shortlisted and interviewed. The individual bank will be the one to  perform the selection depending on the results.
