The syllabus for this test mainly covers Test on Reasoning, Quantitative & Data Interpretation, Financial Awareness, General Knowledge and English as some of the main subjects. There will be around 11 exam centers for this test in the state which are Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Nalbari, Golaghat, Tezpur, Silchar, Lakhimpur, Kokrajhar and Jorhat based on the post applied for. An interview will also be held for those candidates who are shortlisted from the results of the written examinations and during that day the candidate will also have to produce their original documents and particulars. In case the University/Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by the Bank by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.
Minimum percentage of marks prescribed for the examination is not allowed to be rounded off. (For example: a candidate who secured only 59.99% of marks for graduation is not eligible).

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limits : 18-27 years as on 30.09.2011.

Educational Qualifications :
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, and Management from a recognized University with minimum of 55% marks.
  • Candidates possessing proficiency in Computer operations and knowledge is essential.
Scale of Pay : Rs.15,000/- to Rs.20,000/-

Selection Criteria : Based on the Number of Vacancies, Candidates would be called for Aptitude Test, which is to be conducted in three centres namely New Delhi, Dehradun, Haldwani.Later on,the candidates successful in the written test will have to appear for group discussion and/ or interview depending on available vacancies.

The examination will be held on all or some of the specified dates in one or two sessions on a given date in different centres. No correspondence regarding change of date/centre of examination will be entertained.

On the date of examination as mentioned in your call letter, please report at the venue for Written Examination at least 30 minutes prior to the time printed in the call letter (i.e. 8.30 a.m. / 1.00 p.m.). Candidates who report late will not be permitted to take the examination.
